President / Secretary of state chapters should send names of three
P.G. students in order of merit to Dr. Amit Rastogi, Assoc. Professor,
Deptt. of Orthopaedic
Surgery, Medical College B.H.U., Varanasi. (Residential add- 26, Saket
Nagar, Sankat Mochan, Varanasi – 221005. Mobile no. 09415202610.
Two students from each state will participate whereas one student will be in waiting list. Certificate of being a
P.G. Student along with address, signature and
attested photograph must be submitted to the Chairman. The
P.G. student should not have appeared in the final examination before the last date of the conference.
Golden Deadline – 1st September 2009.
The team earns 10 points in the preliminary round if the state Chapter has sent names before deadlines.
Last Deadline – 30th September 2009. No bonus point.
The National P.G. Quiz will be conducted during the conference in two parts. This is expected to be a fiery, colourful, witty, full of bonanza and an informative exercise.
Round 1: Preliminary Written test Round
All participants will compete in a written test at the venue.
Round 2: Final Audio / Visual Round
The first six teams will go through a questions round including audio-visuals of 80 minutes. |

AWARDS OF IOA (COMPETITION PAPERS): |

Dr. A.A MEHTA GOLD MEDAL : |
|
This competition is open only to IOA Members below 40 years of age as on 31st December of the year of the conference. Proofs of Membership and age are essential. The
central committee in its august meeting shall screen papers marked for the said gold medal competition and select the papers befitting for the competition. The results of the
competition shall be announced during the valedictory function of the conference. Medal will be presented during the inauguration of the subsequent year's conference. |

Dr. K. T. DHOLAKIA MEDAL: |
|
This will be awarded to the overall best paper of the conference. |
|
Dr.
R.C. RALLAN GOLD MEDAL: |
|
This will be awarded to the best paper on the basic science. |
|
Dr. S. S. YADAV GOLD MEDAL: |
|
This will be awarded to the best paper in Oncology section. |
|
Dr. P. TEJESWAR RAO GOLD MEDAL: |
|
This award is for the best paper by a post graduate. All awards will be chosen by the central committee of the IOA in consultation with the scientific committee. The winner
of the best paper will be presented a medal, a certificate and will be given a travelling fellowship on allowances to travel two centers of his choice for a period of about one
fortnight. |

for Sub-Specialty Meetings |

There will be an half a day session (3 hours) for all the
sub-specialities. 2 hours will be devoted to guest lecturers, debates & symposia 1 hour is to be devoted to the free papers. The list of sub-specialty societies is given below. |

Honorary Secretary of the concerned societies should be contacted for information about symposium and debates. |

All the papers / abstracts submitted will be first screened by central scientific committee and only acceptable abstracts (if so indicated by authors) will be sent to specialty society for consideration. Those not accommodated may be given place in the free paper sessions of the main conference. |

Scientific committee has the right to assign a presentation to any scientific session in the interest of overall scientific session in the interest of overall scientific
programme.
