Aesthetic campuses of KIIT University perched in the historic city of Bhubaneswar in idyllic surroundings provide an ambient environment for intellectual pursuit. The
12-kilometer stretch of road from Biju Pattanaik airport (BBI) and 9 kilometer road from Bhubaneswar railway station towards Nandan Kanan zoo are frequented by public
transport and taxis. Ten sprawling campuses of the University including Kalinga Institute of Medical sciences (KIMS) are in close proximity to each other in a radius of two
kilometers give KIIT an identity of its own. The Air-conditioned Auditoriums, lecture theatres equipped with modern amenities, the Library, Bank, Post Office, sports grounds,
multi-gym indoor stadium, welfare services, computerized Railway booking counter and supermarket, everything that one would expect is located here.
Official language of
the conference is English
In Orissa, rainy season ends by October and hence end of November with the temperature range of 16 0 C to 24 0 c. is very cool pleasant and greenly. So light woolen
garments will be comfortable
Delegates and guest speakers coming from overseas will require VISA for India. It has to be obtained from Indian mission abroad. So one should possess a valid national
passport (except in case of Nepalese and Bhutanese nationals who may carry suitable means of identification)
The official letter of invitation, in order to attend IOACON 2009 will be issued from Conference Secretariat in the same form by which the request is received (by letter or
Email). This letter does not entitle any financial support towards expenses for attending the conference i.e., registration, accommodation, tours and travels. This is essentially
to assist the participants, who need to obtain government's or their department's permission to attend the conference or to obtain the required
VISA from Indian missions abroad.
All delegates and accompanying persons / spouse / children will be issued separate type of badges carrying Name and IOACON 2009 ID Nos. Volunteers and trade exhibitors
will also be issued appropriate badges. All are requested to wear the badges for security and other checking reasons.
Only essential small handbags and belongings with proper name tags will be allowed to be stored in the cloakroom in the venue.
The participants and accompanying persons should take personal insurance to cover any eventuality that might happen during the conference dates. The organizing committee shall not be liable for any personal loss, accidents or damages to persons or belongings of participants or accompanying persons.

Certificate of Attendance |
Certificate of attendance will be given at the conference venue to all delegates who have attended the conference. Separate certificate will be given for CME and workshops
and this will be given at their respective venue.

Inauguration and VIP lecturers |
Due to security concern, it may not be possible for delegates to carry items in hand i.e. camera, cell phone, etc. inside the hall for particular period of time depending on
the dignitary present on that occasion.
The IOA Office will be located near Hall D, and delegates can visit the office for updating their address, membership application, etc.
The Organizing Committee Office of IOACON 2009 will be located by the side of the IOA Office. Delegates can visit to gather information about conference if they will have
any difficulties.

Sponsorship for conference |
Sponsorship in various forms is available to the people and organizations and their active participation is welcome in the mega event with potential for widespread
dissemination of product and services. IOA members are requested to help in enlisting sponsorship for IOACON 2009. The trade brochure can be viewed on the official

Registration to be made in the prescribed form enclosed herewith or with its Photo copy. The same can also be downloaded from the Web-site. The registration categories
and fees are listed in the registration form . Members must quote their IOA membership number failing which they will pay Non-membership fees. The duly completed registration forms with the payment should reach the conference secretariat on or before the scheduled time. Registration will be valid only on the date of receipt of payment instrument (DD only). Registration also can be done online (www.ioacon2009.net) but the payment by post must reach within a week of registration.
Registration of delegates sponsored by any pharmaceutical or surgical companies will be calculated as per the spot registration
fees. Acknowledgment of Registration will be sent to all delegates and this letter will show IOACON-2009 ID Number, payment details, payment due from you or refund due to you as the case may be.
Registration ID Number to be always quoted for all
correspondences. The original payment receipt along with Registration IOACON 2009 ID number, must be presented at the allotted ID number registration counter to
get the Registration badge and necessary documents of conference. PG students have to enclose certificate from the Head of the Department.

Accompanying persons Registration |
Accompanying persons & Children above the age of 10 yrs have to pay registration fee each as per the tariff schedule. Photographs of all registered delegates and
accompanying persons including children below 10 years of age with names are required for Conference badges for security reasons.
The security staff may deny admission if Badge is not worn. Persons wearing conference badges only will be allowed to move in the trade area, exhibition and conference. This entitles them for Daily Local sight seeing trips, Lunches, dinners, Tea /coffee. Spouses and children will not be allowed to the Lecture Halls.
All payments are to be made only through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “IOACON- 2009”
payabe at Cuttack.
Registration after 31st of October 2009 will be considered as spot registration and the organizing committee will not be in a position to ensure mementoes, delegate
kIITs, souvenirs and other materials for such registrations. Spot registration counters will be opened at conference venue on 24th & 25th of November 2009.

EXEMPTION OF REGISTRATION FEES |
Senior IOA members above the age of 65 years, Past Presidents of IOA, Honorary fellows and Awardees of IOA, Overseas guest speakers are exempted from Conference
and CME fees but they are requested to sent the Registration form duly filled in before 15th August 2009. Faculty members of the CME & Workshops are exempted from registration of concerned event.
